- The paid version (the “pro”) includes everything, it doesn’t have ads or in-app purchases. The free one has one in-app purchase which enables the automatic update of speed cams (the speed of speed cams is not shown on the Watch without this in-app purchase, although a general warning is given), enables CarPlay, removes the ads, and allows to chose dark/light mode independently of the iPhone settings. If you buy it, you would have the same functionality of the paid version.
NOTES:
- To use the Warner you need your device to have a GPS integrated: all iPhones have it, iPod and iPad WiFi do NOT have it (iPad 3G DOES have it). The rest of the functionality (routes, traffic, gas price) works in any device.
ATTENTION! The Speed Cam Warner uses your GPS. Continuos use of the warner in fore or background can drain your battery quickly.

Warnings with notifications when the app is in background (authorise it if you want to use this functionlity).

- New image viewer for traffic cameras, swipe downwards to close.
- When moving the map in the Warner manually, you can choose if the map is centered in your location inmediately, never, or after a configurable time. By default, it will center it after 15 seconds. That way, you can move the map with more liberty to watch the traffic. When there is a warning, the area of the warning is shown with the usual detail. Once the warning is finished, the map comes back to the location it was showing. You can also use the centering button to center the map whenever you like.
- All speed cams are shown on the map of the Warner (you can deactivate this if you prefer it), clustered according to the zoom level you are using. The 3 closest speed cams in your direction keep on being shown bigger.
- Button to stop the location in the Warner: if you press it, the location updates are stopped and when you send the app to the background, it is closed (you can keep on changing to another tab to stop the location, it is not mandatory to use this button).
- Incidents, gas stations, cameras and speed cams are clustered in the Traffic Map according to the zoom level you are using. That way, the map is not full of objects which don't allow you to see the traffic.
